Need help removing a character from my account. x.x

I used to play during the Stormreach trial and had a monk that I was trying out the class with on my account. Now I deleted two of the other characters that I had on my account to play my first level 2, but I can't seem to find the option to remove my monk on a free account. Is there some way I can get some help with this? I don't want the monk anymore, and want to roll another class, but I can't with the account on it's current standing and I don't want to create a new account to start over with my level 2.

You have to log into the account with teh character on it, go to the character selection screen, select the character, click the delete button and follow the on-screen instructions. there is no other way to delete a character.

Unfortunately I cannot select the character because it's one that comes with a VIP upgrade. I can't afford to upgrade to delete a character I created months ago. ;_; See what I mean?

Unfortunately you may just be SOL until you unlock the monk class and whatever character slot requirements you need to access that character. I know from experience that Turbine will not delete unwanted characters for you, even if you ask them nicely.

I know how it feels. In LOTRO Beta, I had 2 accounts for testing and when the game went live I upgraded the one account with a subscription. You needed to buy the disk in addition to the monthly fee so it was 65$ off the top... and I had my good character name on a character my 2nd account and since it was just a Beta account I couldn't log into it anymore once the game went Live so there was no way to delete the guy to free up my name. I contacted Turbine to ask them to delete it and they just told me they won't do it and that I will have to buy another copy of the game and pay for a month's sub just to log into that account ot delete the guy. X_X

Ugh that sucks! I played LOTRO for a while, loved the game, but the community on the realm I was playing was not exactly the most newb friendly. Quit a while back. But played DNDO and loved it, but couldn't afford the upgrade and had to stop due to the trial running out. Ah well, lets hope I can afford VIP eh?

maybe if you buy a slot it will give you the option to delete that monk character
