Sorry, but have to disagree here. The 500 Points is for being a subscriber. They did pay the sub fee, which qualifies them for the whole month, No real reason to have to wait.

Oh, and OP. don't go to Cryptic with Champions Online better known as Sidekicks Online. They nerf on average every 5 days destroying builds that were working. Turbine could learn from Cryptic about how to **** off your entire player base.

There is a way to get attention, and this surely isn't it.

I am the type of player that never has any problems getting answers or help from Turbine officials when I need it, whether it be in-game from GM's or on the forums from devs or moderators. Occasionally I fly off the handle, yes, but more often than not I get the answers or fixes to my problems by being respectful.

See if you can get this one fixed: Ranged Combat. Because I've been waiting a long, long, long, long, long, long time for that.

Turbine has a terrible track record for getting information out on the forums. They appear to be trying to get better, but I have little faith that it will last very long. I've been here since the beginning, and have learned from experience. There have been epic forum posts in the pasts that have been completely ignored by turbine. Without the obsessive player base, this game would have and should have died a while ago. Thank goodness for them.

That being said, screaming about it doesn't really help either. You are right, using a different form of communication (help tickets, support ect.) would probably work better. I guess the op wants his points right away, I thought you got the points on your monthly aniv. Kind of a catch 22 to keep you around for another month. Though if you have access to all the quest now, you should be able to gain favor fairly fast. And favor gets you points, and drow ect.

You forgot to mention that the first nerf occurred only three days after launch, that made it very hard to figure out which powers are good and which powers are not and that their respec system has a cost so high that most characters can't even afford it (or have to spend a huge part of their savings).

Honestly, the days (about a week) before actual release, the game was VERY fun. It really was.

First nerf? HA! Wrong this time, Borror0. First nerf was day 1. Release day! And it was a huge xp nerf, let alone across the board drop in power output. Things that could drop 50% of a henchmen's health at your level (aka the trash mobs for the rest of you) using an ablity that you had to work up to... yeah. You could maybe do 10%. I swear the energy builder is probalby one of the most damaging attacks you can do any more.

And don't bother trying to stay pure unless you want to be supremely gimped. *sigh* Going to try it any how.

OH yeah, and I forgot to mention, Server still crashes daily it seems.

Okay I have read the post about hardly anyone getting their 500 points for becoming a VIP. I fall into that category and it is very annoying and a breach of contract.
