Hey all, did all the quests in the starter area, ready to leave the island, but it appears my download manager never finished as when I talk to the npc at the docs I get an error message that I dont have that module yet or some such nonsense. Anyone else ever run into this? Started download manager again last night, trying again this evening.

You didn't mention the actual text but it's possible you're seeing something like "Content is downloading" etc etc. If you downloaded a full copy of the game, then there shouldn't be a download screen there.
Try talking to the Captain first (he's on the dock along with the first mate who will take you off the island) and then talk to the first mate.
There's been a number of people (including myself) who have encountered this same issue.It occurs to me that the dice are being rolled by the same computer that's trying to kill me. It knows all the moves - it's just toying with me.
