    Default Fighter/Paladin/Rogue intimitank

Good day gentlemen, a long time ago (when the level cap was 16) I devised a fighter/paladin rogue (12/2/2) intimidation tank (on the european servers) which if I remember was really rather nice (excellent saves, evasion, excellent AC and not bad damage) however I remember little of this build and am returning to the game after a long hiatus. Can anyone advise me on good intimitank builds like this (Or even just other good tank builds)

Couple of things I do remember from that build:
    warhammer specialised, with stunning blow
used +1 tomes to everything at first level
Was dependant on me being able to get a mithral tower shield/fp but that's not as hard these days.

If you want to do a "traditional" (i.e. using a Tower Shield) evasion tank, my current favorite is Big Rock Candy. I know cforce has a Fighter/Paladin/Rogue tank and he indicates (in that thread) that if he were to start it again today he'd do something very similar to Big Rock Candy.

I personally have a preference for Monk-splash tanks in the current environment, but start with that Big Rock Candy thread and you'll find my comments and questions, and links that may be worth a look.

Here's something a little different. It's still a ftr/pal/rog, but with more emphasis on rogue. It's based on NeatoMan my 12rog/6ftr/2pal. This build is 32pt, and requires only two +1 tomes (int, cha) and eventually a +2 dex tome for twf.

    NeatoTank a Stalwart Defender-Acrobat.

-Dual wields khopeshes and scimitars, or uses leviks shield when intimitanking.
    -evasion, plus immunity to knockdown.
-53 unbuffed intimidate with +15 item and +6 cha skill shroud item (also good for umd)
-384hp without shroud hp item or minos helm.
-58 AC self buffed while twf. 7x30sec uncanny dodge = 64AC.
-64 AC self buffed while s&b in defender stance. 7x30sec ud = 70AC
-max ranks in umd, and max rogue trapsmithing skills (dd,ol,search, spot)
    -good all around saves.
-excellent reflex save when running traps (turn on resilience).
-good stunning blow DC, especially when using 5%weighted item
-good dps with added sneak attack damage and crippling strike

    Holy thread necro, Batman!

That build is 4 1/2 years old; it's waaaay obsolete now, unfortunately. Even if you wanna stick with the class split, I'd strongly advise starting over from scratch.

Really? I was so happy..haha. But the idea is good: 12 rogue for SA, evasion, traps etc... 2 pally for the saves, lay on hands and aura, 6 fighter for the feats (TWF), kensei, hp.

I think would work well...plan to use D axes.

Since krud's hasn't posted in ages, he's not around to update this build for us, unfortunately. But I would say if you don't want Stalwart D., rgr 6 is better than ftr 6 for TWF: free ranged feats, +10% offhand from Tempest, Ram's Might; only drawbacks are losing extra action boost and Haste Boost costs twice as much.

The pally splash on this build was purely for Divine Grace, AFAICT; since LoHs scales w/pally lvls, you won't get much out of it w/only pally 2.

Pally splash adds Charisma modifier to saves, not? With evasion saves mix well, i think. But i kind of new at the game.

And about fighter, i would like the weapon focus and specialization. The free feats would be enough to take TWF, and i don't need the bow feats.

    My objective

    Correct.
And about fighter, i would like the weapon focus and specialization. The free feats would be enough to take TWF, and i don't need the bow feats.
In terms of TWF DPS, ftr 6 gets you +5 dmg w/axes (enhs + WS feat) and +1% doublestrike; rgr 6 gains you +10% offhand (~4% DPS increase), Ram's Might (+2 STR +2 dmg so effectively +3 dmg), up to +4 dmg while dual-wielding, +2 dmg vs two Favored Enemies (can go higher, but it's expensive AP-wise), and up to +3D6 sneak atks from DWS which stacks w/rog SAs. So, for a TWF build, esp. one w/so much sneak atk, I'm pretty sure rgr 6 is better DPS.

Plus it provides a lot more skill pts than ftr; the main drawback is losing extra action boost from Kensei and haste boost costs more. And don't overlook Manyshot, which is one of if not the best burst-DPS option in the game, esp. if you're in FotW / Unbridled Fury mode.

Now, if you want Stalwart D. for the defensive / tanking bonuses, that's a different matter. And if you were going for ftr 8 / Keen Edge, that might change things DPS-wise; but then you're stuck with either rog 12 / ftr 8 or rog 10 / ftr 8 / pal 2 vs your original build idea.

10 rogue/8 fighter/2 pally looks nice.... i did not choose this because i thought every build had to come to 12 lvl for capstones.

The capstones are only available to pure builds; you're probably thinking of the 2nd-tier PrE abilities which are / were available at class lvl 12. krud's build went rogue 12 largely for Acrobat II which offered knockdown immunity; this is now called "Kip Up" and is the lvl 12 core ability in the Acrobat tree. Acrobat is heavily weighed in favor of staves, but it's still possible to pick up Kip Up on a non-staff build without wasting (too many) APs...but not if you drop below 12 rog lvls.
