Help me please?!

I have a problem when I go into dark rooms I am not able too see anything, no not because it is dark , its like I can see through walls and the floor disappears, when I am in cities or outside the game is beautiful. I thought it was a graphical issue but when I have the game suggest settings for me it sets it all on high. I have even tried lowering it but no avail. Here are my specs in case someone out there can help me.
