    Default Unusual combo

I see a lot of multi-class questions and builds and advice up, but I haven't seen this one yet. (To be honest I didn't search for it though.
    Rogue/ Cleric.
My initial plan (based on 10 minutes of careful thought under the influence of a dose of cold medicine) is to go 15/ 5 for the level 3 spells. (Prayer and others.) Doing 17/3 would work as well for the buffs. I need to remember to check the healing spells on level 3 before I go for cleric 5 though.
    Get extend spell of course.
I'm not worried about min/maxing, it just seems fun to play and better survivablity than a solo rogue.
Of course I'm zoned out on cold meds at the moment so feel free to tell me what's wrong with this idea. ;-)

splashing caster classes like this is always a bad idea.
Arannel, Aqueous, Cocobolo, Arboreous, Erudirion, Congruous, and Cogs

This multiclass build is very doable, I would watch where you put your Stats and there are a few things to keep in mind...

    1. Rogues CANNOT use evasion in medium or heavy armor.

    2. It is possible to open almost every lock or disable most traps in the game without being a high level rogue (dump skill points into Disable Device even when taking a level of cleric). My Fighter/Rogue build is only taking 6 levels of Rogue (for Way of the Mechanic I) and should be a competent trap-smith in high end content.

    3. You will need a Wisdom score of at least 14 in order to use some of the best cleric spells.

    4. Take Rogue at 1st level to maximize skill points available.

    Enjoy your cold medicine...
I believe in mind over matter. If I don't mind, it doesn't matter.

    Sarlona! Yep, back again.

I think you have it backwards. OP is talking about 15rog/5cleric, not the other way around.

OP, I suspect when Anarkius realizes this, his advice will be similar to A_D's.

    /agreed

The 14 Cleric/6 Rogue is MUCH more beneficial. Sorry, I guess I need to read more closer

There is little to no REAL benefit of taking small levels of any caster that cannot be balanced with a proper UMD skill.

    Thanks for the correction Strakeln.

It is ineffective to take any cleric levels on a character unless you intend for most of your levels to be cleric.

The character described would eventually be using divine scrolls to regularly produce effects far more powerful than what his cleric levels can do, making them a waste of levels.
