DDO via SSH Tunnel or SOCKS Proxy?

I can tell you the setup that seems to work for me.

PuTTY - SSH to a server I have set up at home
Proxifier - setup to connect to the local PuTTY SSH connection.

What you could to is find another proxy server on the internet, there are a few free ones out there and use Proxifier to connect to it (I am sure there are other options, this was the one I found and got working in 5 minutes and it was only 40USD so stopped looking).

I wanted this for work so they could not track my internet usage.

How did you configure putty and proxifier to make this work? I've been trying all morning to get the settings right, but DDO keeps returning HTTP 417 to me.

EDIT: Finally got this working - Thanks to Lorad for posting his solution, pointed me in the right direction. +1.
