    Default Game Payment Method missing and Turbine doesn't respond.

    So, I decided to try to upgrade to a VIP account using my credit card. Sitting in my house (the one on the card) with more than enough money I get Error 140000. Apparently Turbine's anti-fraud system is more of a major-headache system. Fine enough. Go get an Ultimate Game Card and try to apply the points. Everything goes smoothly on the PayByCash side but there is no option for me to change my payment method. After searching the forums it says there's a workaround if I contact Turbine. This week I have sent a couple unanswered e-mails and have tried to call 4 separate times and waited for over 45 minutes each time before giving up. I'm currently posting here as apparently one of the Customer Service reps checks the forums and I'm hoping this might be resolved so that I can get the premium content and game with my friends. If anyone has a super secret way of getting Turbine to respond please let me know.

    I'm sorry to hear you're having troubles upgrading your account. That error has to do with our verification system. Generally it means you'll need to call or fax the card details to have an Account Management representative add the card for you. (However, if you're traveling and can have someone at home add the card, you might be able to try that instead.)

    We have been very busy lately (in part due to how popular Eberron is!) so phone holds have been long on some days. All calls are answered in the order they are received, but hold times haven't been much more than 45 min at any point. If you can try to call again today, the phones open at 2pm.

    We also have received a lot of emails, and are answering them all in the order they were received as well. You will get an answer when they get to your email in the queue.

    I am having the same problem, I First tried calling but after being on hold for over 20 minutes I hung up, I am overseas in Germany And waiting up to 45 minutes is not an option. Also I don't have a fax machine.

    I do not understand why I am having problems with this card now, I used the same one for 3 years.

    Is there another option to fix this problem? Can Customer Service call me? Can I send an email with a Scan of my info?

    I played for 3 years and would like to come back but the options and problems I am getting are not helping with that

    I am having the same problem, I try to buy some Turbine points and i cant add my information credit card.
    The error was (140003) I try do it on-game and Turbine page.
    Guys your loosing money. You have to fix this problem.
    I from Mexico City, so i cant to spend 45 min by phone

    Turbine officially supports the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand (including residents of those countries while traveling). However we are happy to assist players from other countries, and even have a web work around that you can now try.

    You may be able to add your card on the website by following these steps:
    -Log into http://myaccount.turbine.com/ with the username and password you use to log into the game.
    -Click the "Payment Method" button on the blue bar on the top of the page.
    -Enter your credit card and address details. Please note that our system does verify that the address you provide is the one your card company has on file, as well as all other card details.
    -If you're able to add the card and address details in the previous step, then you should be able to click the "Get Unlimited Access" button and leave checked the box to use the card on file.

    If you receive any errors (or your country or area isn't listed) when trying to update your card via the "Payment Method" button, then you may need to call or fax your card details. Phone information is listed in my signature. If you prefer to fax, then please email the Account Management department for the required details (or if you can PM me, then send your username and email and I'll pass along the required information.)

    Please note that
    our phone hold times can vary greatly. They have been long lately (again due to the Eberron launch) but have quieted some this week. Mondays (and Tuesdays) tend to be our busiest phone days, so if you're able to call on another day, it is likely (but not guaranteed) that your hold time will be shorter.
