Dwarf Mountain/Badger Tank?

I'm considering rolling a dwarven monk to use as DPS/tank.

Am I crazy? Would I be better off just going with a wind stance template?

If you go pure monk the 8/- dr from rank 4 earth stance is overshadowed by the 10/epic dr that all monks get at 20.

At rank 4 wind stance and rank 4 earth switching from earth to wind gains you 6 con and loses you 6 dex and 10% attack speed.

So the question is do you value 60 hp more than 3ac and 10% faster attack.
