    Default turbinedownloadmanagericon.exe cannot find the file specified

    Windows Vista Ultimate

    I just installed DDO-Unlimited and when I try to launch the game at the end of the install I get the following error:

    Launch Error
    "C:\Program Files\Turbine\Turbine Download Manager\TurbineDownloadManagerIcon.exe"
    The system cannot find the file specified

    I checked for the file from the error but it does not exist, although it appears all the the other download manager files are in the directory above and the download manager has functioned for me during the download process.

    Anyone seen this or can offer any assistance?

    Might be a permissions one just to test that try temporarily disabling UAC (steps here) if it keeps up though re-enable that and try reinstalling TDM.

    Also did you choose the "Start with Windows" option during the install or did you turn that off, (if off try reinstalling and leaving that on)

    Also (tech support cliche I know ) try rebooting as well after the install.

    Definitely follow up with a support ticket though if it keeps up.

    After contacting support, log into your email webpage to add noreply@turbine.com and accountsupport@turbine.com to their "safe senders" list and your contacts list/address book. Be sure to check Spam/Junk Mail folders as well since most email providers do not let external email programs or cell phones download mail flagged this way.
