Muckbane PC

Hi,
A member of my normal group recently got a muckbane. He's decided to sell it, and asked me about pricing, but I've seen a ton of messages in /trade, and the variance seems pretty wide. Can anyone give me a realistic idea about what to ask for it?

The muckbane is great for lowbies, it's glass and has lesser ooze bane on it, but you can get Muck's Doom from The Pit at higher levels, which is better, but harder to get.

From what I've seen though, lowbie gear is in such a high demand that it is selling better in the AH than high level gear.

I think it depends on who you plan on selling it to, if you want to sell it to a long time player who wants one for a new lowbie, they'd probably pay around 5k plat. A new player wouldn't have that much money though, you'd probably be able to sell it for around 1 or 2k plat.

While Muck Doom is a Pretty neat item, very few people farm The Pit in order get obtain it. Many of my characters till dual weild Muchbanes at end game.. Or at least Dual Elemental Heavy Maces of Everbright.


Not toally up on the Canith marketplace, but if your looking to make some plat, Muckbanes are probobly one item that can get you some funds...

Persoanlly, I would estimate buyouts in the 10kplat range Minimum and expect that even at 15-25k plat, they would sell.

3-5 k plat on the new server max IMO. I've got a muckdoom on the new server and would be hard pressed to sell it for 20k plat IMO. Just not much money floating yet to the general public.......thier is not yet a middle class......:non powergamers with money ready to caugh it up for tweek stuff.
