    Default A New Invasion

Anyone have advice on the last battle in this quest. That arcane blast trap is ridiculous. Is there a trap box for it, or is it an enviornmental effect of some sort? I didn't get much time to explore the room. Are evasion builds the best way to beat this?

Next to the chest you can tuck in between the wall and pillar the curses wont hi tyou there and spam mass heals on the party. Or you can have a cleric drop down the whole and drop blade barriers while running circles.

Drop down and gather. Kill trash. boss comes to you, beat on him. When "portal" opens up underneath you, everyone instantly all move to the next tile. You must move as a group, stand on eachother. Boss will come to you. Beat him down some more. When "portal" opens underneath you move again to the next tile over. Must move as a group, stand on top of each other, boss will come to you. Repeat.

Peeps get in trouble when they start running in circles, this triggers many more of the environmental effects than necessary. Even a low dps group can beat this fight.

Best way to success with no resources used and no deaths.

It's totally true, I have a reliable source. You better reroll now.

This is what we normally do with one modification. Have the cleric drop down first and blade barrier to kill the trash, then everyone drops down and does the group thing. It's a pretty quick fight.

Thanks for the tips. It makes a lot sense now that I know that moving around triggers the traps.

On normal there are only two devils. Any group of reasonable competency will be able to kill them before he does his little speech and power up. He's not active in play until after that little bit. The whole blade barrier bit seems a bit unnecessary. Quik's described method works 100% of the time for me or my groups.
