DDO FAILS TO START WiNxpSP3

I downloaded , the game yesterday , the standard edition and after the installation i click on the DDO desktop icon to start the game and nothing happens. I also tried the HD edition of this game and nothing happens again. I checked the installation folder in Program files and all the files are there.

I have Windows Xp with sp3, DirectX 9c, Ati Radeon 4850, Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1, 2, 3, 3.5 sp1.
25gb free disk space (after installation), 2gb RAM, Core duo 2,4ghz Cpu and 24Mbit Dsl connection.

Please help me , i cant find any solution for this.

You mentioned 1.1 but is the 1.1 service pack also installed? (Lists in "Add or Remove programs" as "Microsoft .Net 1.1 Hotfix (KB####). If that one isn't listed install it (including links for both just in case:

Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1

The 1.1 Service Pack (Hotfix)

If its still going on though definitely open a support request if you havent yet.

Thanks for the response, i have the Microsoft.net 1.1 Hotfix (KB928366) already installed. I also have 2.0 sp2 and 3.0 sp2 and 3.5. I will send the request to turbine. If anybody else knows anything about this error please let me know, THANK YOU.

Well , i just uninstalled Microsoft.Net 1.1 and 1.1 Hotfix , i made a reboot and then reinstalled both of them from the links you gave me Mirthgar and the game started!! Problem solved. I am going to download now the HD version of DDO
to try if it works too. Thank you very much for the solution!
