Default Please drop guest pass price

I have two friends in my guild who are interested in getting my opinion about a couple of the adventure packs I have. At most, they'd probably buy one adventure pack each. I have spent some real money and also grinding in-game for TPs on my account. I purchased a few adventure packs.

Problem is, the guest passes are overpriced for letting them see a little of the packs I purchased. For example, Delera's Tomb is 120 TP for a guess pass for 90 minutes, per person. To invite the two friends for a good gaming session at about 2 to 3 hours, I'd have two buy four guest passes which comes to 480 TP. That's around the price of another adventure pack in itself.

    The math doesn't add-up.

A more reasonable amount would be 150 TP to invite up to a full party of friends to try ANY adventure pack I have for 3 hours. After all, people buy adventure packs to repeat the quests for XP and loot (after the initial experience).

Or better yet, a trial run for 50 TP to let a full party of people take a look at ANY adventure packs I have for 30 minutes.

In short, the PER person, PER 90 minutes, and PER adventure pack means I'll never purchase them.

i think deleras is so much b/c you can max out on it and be done for the life of that character in 3 hours time.

thats what p1, p2 2x-3x, p3, and necro 1x-2x. more in a really good zerg group.

yes a new group of players wont be repeating each part, and will probably take the full 3 hours. But this prevents abuse from veterans who went F2P

making low level adventure packs a little cheaper would be more ideal than messing with the guest passes.

If they did that, they could do away with the guest passes. But as it stands, content is just too pricey, especially for a 2006 client.

I'd be buying guest passes if they were less restrictive, and I'd see my friends buy adventure packs if they were less expensive for TP.

One good example of this imbalance is the TP package purchases. 3 thousands some TPs for $39? You can't buy all of the adventure packs for that price. But we can all buy entire RPG titles or 3+ months of an MMOP sub for that price.

There have been posts about the price of F2P vs VIP before. The cost of buying all of the content as F2P player is roughly one and a half years worth of subscriptions.

I, for one, think DDO is worth the price, but that is for you to decide. I am not sure what other MMORPG's are costing these days, but you do have to buy the game and pay a monthly fee. You can get DDO for around $15 US a pretty good deal if you ask me.

The sub fees are reasonable, on par with other MMOs. What I like about the F2P accounts, especially if I laid down money to get a "Premium" account, is that they're always around, even if I'm away from DDO for months at a time. I plan to spend time primarily on STO and/or SWTOR when they're released, so I won't want to keep a sub going here for DDO.

As for purchasing all of the content, not interested. I just wanted to get a few of the better ones. For later game adventure packs, I'll let me in-game grinding for TP points pay for them.
