    Default BSOD with audio

So I have a Diamond Xtreme 5.1 sound card. With audio enabled I end up getting the BSOD every so often and have to reboot the system. Currently I am using the latest drivers from the MF and wondering if there's something else I can try to resolve the issue. The BSOD doesn't give any good information as it just list a memory address inlieu of a specific file. Ofcourse with audio disabled I never get a crash.

Any suggestions aside from getting a new soundcard?

I did a little checking and DXdiag shows the cmuda3.sys audio file to be unsigned. Went onto windows update > Custom > Hardware and there was a C-Media PCI audio update. Everything checks out fine in DXdiag now so going to give it a bit of a test.
