Don't have the cash to transfer my arcanes to the server I'm playing on, and haven't pulled the spell yet either for my friends that have wizards. Don't know personally of any high level sorcs (let alone willing ones?) to snag the spell.

That's really a shame. It's become one of my favorite spells, especially out in Shavarath, where this seems to really shine. Some of the effects seem to be no save, and aren't stopped by deathward or any other of the blanket immunities monsters have out there.

Catch 3 or 4 monsters in the cone, and it's likely one may just wink out of existence or get stoned or feared or take 700ish damage... Higher success rate than most of my other CC type spells.

Hmmm makes me consider taking it on my sorc.

It's worth taking, in my opinion. Chance to deal around 700+ damage of an element, or stone something, or fear something, or wink something out of existence (instant death against non-boss enemies immune to instant death effects, and has no save). Even when something makes its save, I don't care because I don't even know what it just saved against!

Used it in PvP and had some very puzzled people laughing very hard.

Is there social aggro in this game? That is to say, if something gets feared and runs into a bunch of other mobs, will it bring them all leashing back towards the main fight?
This assumes nobody chases it or interacts with it further in any way - just one feared mob running around randomly and ending up near an unaggro'd pack.

Stoned clay over here, but he kept chasing me! And I don't mean the statue0style slide many such creatures do--he was running and swinging!

If the golem had just been following me, it would have been funny, but apparently clay golems have greater strength to strain against the bonds of their non-flesh-turned-stone, because he was swinging at me, and dealing damage!

I was dodging another golem and a skeleton warrior trying to line up shots for disintegrate that wouldn't kill the stoned golem before I could take the screenie.

The answer is, YES, they can still knock you on your ass when they are stoned if you get too close. ****ing air eles!

cuz you know, w/ zero str & con AND flesh to stoned, they still can have their abilities... FTW!
