launcher is re-downloading the WHOLE game...?

I have been playing for a couple weeks now, didn't play all weekend and today the launcher wants to download the whole game for me...
it doesn't give an option to play. asked me where i wanted to d/l to but wouldn't d/l to the default folder. So I create a new folder, because at this point I don't know what it really wants to d/l... turns out its the whole game...

So whats going on here...

good question, i had a major patch download the other night, and today it is stuck and refusing to download the "281.41MB" of data. this has been going on for the last 45min.

yes i have double checked all of my network settings, and oops well im here so it is not my connection with the internet that is a problem so please dont point in that direction.

i have opened up the port 38146 and verified that is clear and uninterrupted.

so turbine, what gives? why are we stuck downloading something that is not downloading?

i had the same problem only after a few minutes the download started and now i can play..i know this doesnt help just throwing it out there.

also try closing and restarting the launcher a few times might get it working.

I haven't been able to play all day because the log in screen never appears. It is just as though I have never downloaded and it wants me to do the whole process over again.

i think its a problem with the TDM...
try the full game install without the d/l manager.

I'm having the same problem. I have tried serveral times during the day but it just shows the option to download the whole game again?

I don't start from the download manager I usually go for the DDO launcher icon but that is now just starting the download manager instead and I have tried all the other .exe's in the installed folder and they all have the same effect. Is there another way that you are launching the game?.
