I've been looking over many of the thief-acrobat, quarterstaff wielding builds and I guess all the rummaging has gotten my mind all soupy. So I'm looking for advise on building this idea. I guess I have quite a few questions, first of all:
- What are the strengths and weaknesses of the thief-acrobat?
- What does the Warforge bring to such a concept?
- What does the Fighter class bring to the thief-acrobat?
- What does the Wizard/Sorc class bring to the thief-acrobat?
- Why do people splash 1 level of Monk so often?
I apologize for such broad questions. I'm simply having trouble deciding on which direction I want to go. I'd like the build to be heavy on the support role (Disable Traps, Open Locks, Platforming such as in House D's: The Pit) - with the ability to tear up hordes of trash mobs, while reserving abilities for named bosses. This seems pretty standard procedure though for a build...
Taking advantage of Warforged Tactics looks really fun. I love tripping and sundering in combat, and adding stunning blow to that could be fun.
I guess the easiest way to figure out this build is just to ask: How would the Warforge race change current Quarterstaff/Thief-Acrobat builds?
Thanks for any help.
