Help with thoughts for a build

I am a somewhat new player and I am finally nearing in on my 400 favor, only 12 to go. I am trying to come up with a build idea for a drow character. I really want to make a character that will wield rapiers and short swords. I like the weapons, mostly the short swords, and would like a character that uses them and drow seemed best.

I am hoping to get some ideas for what to do for a character. I am a mostly solo player but i play with friends when able. I already have a paladin that dual wields and a FvS that uses a greatsword. I have zero tomes and don't have the plat to buy them and no TP. I would really like a character that can heal and survive. I would like to have a mixture of melee and nuking but i know that it is near impossible to be successful with both of those.

I have thought about a rogue with UMD but i don't like switching to wands all the time. I do not care much for the ranger class which is a problem. FvS and Cleric have been my main thought lines but I don't know if I could pull it off very well and would like some advice.

Look up the exploiter and change race to drow and use rapiers instead of kopesh then you wont need the kopesh feat that human granted them.
