    Default What is a "Capstone"

    Hi all, another newb question here

    I've heard of "Capstone", and wanting to know what it is, how to get it, and what the requirements are..

    A "cap-stone" is what it literally means, at least the first part. You need to be a pure class at level cap 20 to qualify for your class' capstone enhancement. It is a weird way to encourage going pure class instead of multiclass who lose out on the capstone enhancements. Each class got different ones, some are useful, some not that much, better to let us know what specific class you're looking for if need further explanation of specific capstones.

    thank you for your reply.. I want to start a cleric but read someone's post about a "capstone" and how you need charisma to use it. I may have misunderstood but I wanted to concentrate on Constitution and Willpower only, and dump the rest on Str.

    Cleric Divine Intervention

    You are a strong conduit of positive energy and can expend a turn attempt to ward your target against mortal damage. When an ally is warded, incoming hit point damage cannot lower their hit point total below -9. When a warded ally is incapacitated, this effect will heal the target after a few seconds for 10 to 39 hit points and then fade.

    They probably said that you need charisma, because this specific capstone is indirectly linked to it - since you are using up your turn attempts for the capstone which is indeed charisma based. However there are many ways of gaining extra turn attempts thus starting with a very high charisma isn't really necessary. What the description dosen't mention is that you can only use 1 charge every 5 minutes, so basically only need like 3-4 turn attempts between shrines, which you already get with a 8 base charisma (2 turns) +2 extra turn enhancements, or a higher charisma item equipped.

    Also note that all classes should be getting 3 capstones meaning there are maybe 2 more comming for cleric that we dont know about yet.

    And yes about 10-12 CHA starting base should be enough to power that capstone for what it does. Just don't start at 6 CHA lol
