I've had a problem with my map of three barrel cove. I've made the following image to explain what I mean better.
Usually, on all the explorer areas I've been, after I've been around the map I get the darkened version of the map. The light path on the map indicated shows where you've been this session. After logging out, I usually still always have the map completed to show where I've been previously in the darkened state.
Last night I spent a good couple of hours exploring three barrel cove to fill out the map so I'd be able to see where i'm going in future.
I logged in today - and the above image shows you whats happened - HALF of my map reverted to the black unexplored state.
I've spoken to a GM in game, who said that the "reverting to the black unexplored state is what should always happen" - if that is what's always supposed to happen, why do I still have a full map for places like Korthos, Cerulien Hills and the Waterworks? Shouldn't they have reverted to the black unexplored map if that was the case?
Also - if it's supposed to revert to black after each time - why would only HALF of my three barrel cove map do that? How it looks now is more like it's been rolled back to the PREVIOUS time I'd logged in before I did all my exploring.
Everything I found last night for my explorer quest IS still registered in the quest as found thankfully.
