Looking for LGBT guild on Sarlona

Hey...

My name is Tina and I'm looking for a good guild - I know I'm a pretty new player, I just kinda started when my friend mentioned how DDO is now suddenly free and I thought i'd give it a try. I'm a relative veteran as far as D&D goes, and I game typically in the evening to late evening on weekdays, sometimes weekends (depends if I go dancing or not

)

I don't need a specifically LGBT guild, but i DO want one where other people are respectful of each other and open to alternative paths of life. I'm not afraid of who I am, but I'm not going to put up with stuff I dont need.

I tried for the same thing. According to responses there are no specifically LGBT Guilds, though there are a few open minded guilds.

Maybe we should start one?

I am sure there are plenty of good guilds you can find that will match your playstyle on Sarlona or any other server. Even one that might identify itself as a hetero guild. If a guild like that even existed that is.

As far as not putting up with things you don't need, there is a /squelch feature in game you can use on individuals. It comes in handy.

At this point, I'm willing to try any guild that offers me a spot

but yeah, I havent had much luck finding an LGBT guild on other games, so my guild on Guild Wars is just a rather tight knit group of people who are fairly accepting. It all works.

I dunno if you've gotten any pms, but in case ppl aren't sending you invites and the like, you might consider asking the question in the Sarlona, or Sarlona guilds forums. I find that the server-specific forums are usually better for finding guilds and games.

I looked this topic up a couple years ago and found that there was a LGBT friendly guild called "Prismatic Ray". I don't think that it exists anymore. I'm on Ghallanda server, if you want to look me up.

Well I have at least one toon on every server. I finally took the leap and made one on Cannith. Though I prefer Khyber, Sarlona and Argo.

Also, I think only vips can send pm's maybe premiums too. Not sure. I'll send one to each of you and see.

::Edit:: Ok so I am only allowed the option to pm a few of you. Guess the forums limits for f2p folks extends to receiving pm's as well.

Hey I would be interested in this, although so far I have only played on Khyber.. oh and I'm swearing off DDO for the next couple of weeks due to impending RL deadline

I ended up asking around ingame and ended up getting to play with a group of smart folks called the Brotherhood of Redemption - who are not an lgbt guild but definitely tolerant and accepting.

I would be very interested in joining/starting a LBGT guild on Sarlona, one along the lines of mystic alliance, which i was a member of both on EQ and WoW. I am currently a lvl 2 bard on Sarlona, still on Korthos Island, still learning the game, but I already know I'm going to be around for awhile and will almost certainly sign up for VIP membership. If I can't find or found a LGBT guild then I definitely want to be a member of a "family" friendly one :-)

The intrest for such a guild is far too much to ignore i say we should go for it i don't feel i have the experience to be a guild master otherwise the guild would be up and running however i am happy to contribute as much time as needed to assist run a guild what do you think guys.

Well then lets see if we can't roll one out on Sarlona. My toon there is Cedri a bard, can't recall the level. As for leadership and such lets set up an in game meet and figure it out from there.
