    Default Need Stats help please

I am a new player, but have not been able to find a list on the internet of what each stat does. Example Cha gives more mana ect. Could someone either list them all or point me in the right direction to find this info? I thank you in advance.

STR - melee to-hit, melee dmg, certain skills. Ranged dmg if Bow Str feat.
DEX - Ranged attk, AC, certain skills, reflex saves. Melee to-hit with light weapons and rapiers if Weapon Finesse feat.
CON - HP, Fort saves. certain skills.
INT - Skill Points, Mana for Wizards, Spell DC for Wizards. certain skills. Reflex saves if insightful reflexes feat.
WIS - Will saves, Mana and Spell DC for Rangers, Paladins, Clerics. Spell DC for Favored Soul.
CHA - Mana and Spell DC for Sorcs, Mana for Favored Souls. Will save if Force of Personality feat.

These are not the only sources of the above mentioned things, however. They simply give substantial bonuses, and thus are essential.

Each stat only gives an extra +1 modifier every 2 pts gained, followig the formula modifier = (score-10)/2
THELANIS - Chief Scientist of DARPA
    Ravinex: Bard 18/Fighter 2 - Krotus: 20 Fighter - Hemium: Ranger 18/Fighter 2 - Stema: Favoured Soul 11 - Hemios: Ranger 15/Fighter 1/Monk 1

Thank you for this reply as this is what I was looking for however, I do have some questions on the terms:

    1. What are saves?
    2. What does DC stand for?
    3. What does AC stand for?
    4. What is a modifier

Sorry for so many questions, but I never played the pnp d&d when I was a kid, so I am making up for lost time .

Saves are saving throws which a character makes against certain adverse affects, such as spells or traps. Each save has a DC, a difficulty class, which must be met in order to "save". Certain saves have a lesser effect, even upon a succeful save.

Fortitude saves resist poison and other bodily effects, such as Flesh to Stone.
Reflex saves allow you to evade traps and most aoe spells.
Will saves allow you to negate affects to the mind, such as charm.

Difficulty class is the amout an enemy needs to roll to save. It is calculated for each spell by 10+INT/CHA+spell lvl, depending on your class.

AC is armor class. It is the number you must roll on your to hit in order to hit your enemy.

The modifier is the amount applied to the stuff mentioned above. For instance, a 30 STR means a +10 bonus to hit and dmg.
