Default New Player Looking For Tips

    Hi folks,

I'm a new player and I am looking to make a really good tanking character.
I found this Character Planner utility and started playing around with it. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to take a look at this and tell me if I am on the right road or not.

Any suggestions are welcome and thank you in advance.

Just out of curiosity - if you're going to go pure fighter, focusing on one weapon type, why not go with the Kensai or Stalwart Defender enhancement line?

Also, kind of looks like you might be wanting to go sword and board (didn't see any 2-handed or 2-weapon feats); if so, might want to check out some of the intimitank builds, and make sure you're interested in getting the defenses high enough (it can be quite an investment) to play the tank role at higher levels.

To be honest, I didn't really look into those two enhancement lines because, being new, I don't really know how they play in the game.

I thought about going 2 handed, but I figured sword and board was they way to go, for a traditional tank thing.

I will be sure to check out the Intimitank builds and go from there. If it turns me off, maybe I'll have to re-think my character idea.

I paid for the game, so I really want to play a Warforged, but alot of the builds I have glanced at (not really read) seem to involve 3 different classes and I'm not really into that, not for a first character at least.
