No connection

Im one of those who cant get a connection to the data servers. It just says "Connection to the server failed" and then it counts down to attempt again.. Now, i have accepted both inbound/outbound connections to all the .exe files in the ddo folder thorugh the firewall. I dont have a router so i cant do any port forwarding really. I have reinstalled/installed the game several times, the TDM works like a charm, patching and all that, its the game that doesnt want to connect. My .net framework is up-to-date, i reinstalled it just to make sure. I have turned off UAC, i have set the ddo folder to give full access to anyone who uses this computer, i have set the programs to run as an administrator, i have downloaded both high-res and low-res, i have done a validate&repair check many, oh so many times.... nothing seems to be working. Also, the turbineregistergdf.exe isnt working properly either i think, doesnt give me any confirmation or anything when i start it, just puts out the hourglass for a sec then stops..whats up with that?

However, it should be known that i had internet explorer deactivated when i installed this game the first time, when i read that it was needed to function i reactivated it, could there be something i forgot there?
And also, ive never been able to play this game, so i cant say it stopped working...just that it never has..
Dont know if this has to do with anything but..lotr works fine, guessing it kind of use the same programs/launchers that ddo does, right?

So, this is my situation, im out of ideas ^^ if anyone have the solution, please be kind to let me know

I'm in the same boat as you, started a ticket and they kept giving me these stupid attempts of a solution with the firewall and what not (everything you tried) but it just doesn't add up with the error's from clicking on a link in the launcher.

I tried to post a screen shot but don't know how to on these forums, it won't paste from "print screen" command.
