Request: Arcane Archer build

I am pretty new to the game and am looking for a fun arcane archer build. That being said I understand the inherant weaknesses of ranged and frankly don't care. I always gravitate towards the bow-using class in any MMO and have played many bow-rangers in the PnP game.

I was thinking wizard/ranger/fighter focusing on buffing with the wizard levels and splashing maybe 2 levels of fighter for the extra feats.

Anyone have a decent build they could recommend? Again not looking for uber.. just fun.

The easiest and quickest is just make a Pure Rgr.
Take the prereq feats
Wep Focused Ranged and Point Boank Shot I think.

Later you will want to take Improved Crit ranged to beef up your bow damage.

But other than that you will be fine.

And can still melee just fine when needed.


Lot of other extreme builds.

But actually they are not very superior to a pure ranger.

For a 28-point build you are not going to do better than an Elf Ranger. For that matter, even with 32-points an elven ranger is about as good as it gets for this.

I just looked up the built-in Arcane Archer path. It is pretty well-constructed! You could do really a lot worse.
