I have played this before, but not online. When you die in the paper version of this game, unless your DM in generous... you're permanently dead. Is that the case with the online version as well?

Good to know, thanks.
When I was playing with my friends, we never actually lost anyone. I know that some classes can resurrect. Generally when I've started characters, my groups have made sure to keep everything balanced. In DDO though, you're able to solo, so I had to ask how it works for that.
