    Default Does box code give 500TP after the included month?

    Hello,

    Haven't been able to find out whether the one month that is included with the physical game box counts as normal VIP subscription month and produces 500 turbine points after the month is over? So, does it?

    Also can I use a box code from a European dealer to add to my free-to-play account on a US server? Or are those box codes only valid in ddo europe?

    The European servers are completely separate, run by Codemasters, and I don't believe they have a free to play option. You'll need a North American key to upgrade a NA trial with Turbine.

    If you add a NA Stormreach product key to your account, with a credit card, and pick a payment plan, you will have VIP access and will get the 500 VIP points monthly after your subscription fee is successfully paid. Applying a key from a box will not instantly provide any VIP points.

    Does this mean that 500TP are awarded on account continuation day only in the case that the subscription continues? This would mean that the free VIP month does not give points, and also that no points are awarded for your last VIP month if you cancel your subscription?

    As you are no longer required to purchase the game when you upgrade from Free or Premium to VIP, there is no "free month". You immediately start subscription time when you click "Get Unlimited Access". You should receive points the next morning, provided the initial payment is successfully processed. Please note, there may be some delay in points disbursement at this time. We are working to resolve this. If you don't have your points within a few days, feel free to contact our Account Management department.

    Problem is that your company is not responding. I have had a request now in for 2 weeks, resubmitted last week and I have not received the first installment of 500 TP points.

    Victorie,

    The problem is that you guys are risking, and from all the response I have read in this forum looks like doing very well, is allienating your VIP base. You guys can keep apologizing all you want, but Turbine is getting so much money from monthly memberships, maybe should be hiring more representatives since your application cant seem credit the accounts correctly. As I explained in my 2nd post that if this doesn't get resolve in a timely matter (like this week) I will be contacting my credit card company and working on a charge back for not receiving the full services that I paid for and was promised.

    I would most likely be purchasing TP Point bundles, but I am not sure if it will be credited to my account without going through 2 - 3 weeks of sending in Account Management Request emails.

    I am not mad at the Service Representatives, but as a Software Developer I would have thought all these bugs would have been worked out before the product went live. The main way Turbine makes money is through these VIP memberships & purchasing these Point Bundles.
