This is rediculous: CHARACTER SERVER TRANSFER BUT I HAVE TO PAY TO UNLOCK THE RACE

I have a VIP account and have transferred a character across servers. The character is a drow, I have not unlocked drow on that server on that account. Turbine expects me to pay 795 turbine points to unlock drow on the new server. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I ALREADY SPENT 25$US ON A CHARACTER TRANSFER, NOW I HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER 8 DOLLARS TO UNLOCK A CHARACTER RACE I HAVE ALREADY UNLOCKED? WHAT A FREAKING RIP OFF SERIOUSLY I HAVE 3 VIP ACCOUNTS ACTIVE AND HAVE PURCHASED 1800 TURBINE POINTS ALREADY FOR VARIOUS FLUFF AND FAVORED SOUL. I SUPPORT THE THE STORE AND THE REVENUE ITS NEEDED BUT THIS IS REDICULOUS. I will be sending an email and a bug report. If I dont get a refund I will seriously have to think about whether I can support this game. Plus where are my FRACKING 500 free turbine points for being VIP?

It has been stated that turbine points are currently bugged and when it is fixed all the points should be awarded accordingly. I don't know if you realized you left caps lock on for most of your post or not

I am not sure if thats a change from mod 9.....it was working fine before the new mod. Transfer used to open 32 points builds if you already had the favor on the charachters you transfered.

the caps were the part where I raised my voice.

Its great they are gonna fix the points but until then I have had to shell out 30$ just to get the points I was already entitled to. To get stuff I was already entitled to have.

it does. But the problem is thatthe Login screen wont let you log in to the Drow character so you can go talk to nyx with your favor to unlock it.

Had he transfered a Human for example, the Favor would of registered and he would of just walked up to nyx and nyx would of awarded him drow. Nyx Triggers the Unlocks. If you cant get to Nyx.. Ya cant unock the Drow.. Or 1750 32point builds......

I'm sure a nice civil email or call to account support could fix this oversight instead of a caps lock infested rant.

Instead of spending your time posting, maybe call a person that can help would be time better spent.

But I do agree you shouldnt have to pay for the Drow you did earn on another server.

I have a free account.

Was VIP after MOD9 released, leveled a lv16 toon with one level of monk.

Read all the in-game Turbine reward points email, those should be couple hundred reward points, yet I received 0.

"Not big deal," I told myself, "I don't really need anything from ddo store on this account."

Sent bug report and forgot about it.

Well, I CAN'T log on that lv16 toon anymore because I don't have the access of MONK.

"Well, I at least have 600 pts from the reward so I can unlock the monk" I said to myself.

"Well, Fook, still 0 points...."



So I can't access my lv16 toon on that account anymore unless I pay.
Sent many bug reports, zero response so far.

its not 795 to unlock drow its either 595 or 596 that being said you should have proably got an unlock for that server by transfering that character there.

Yeah, thats pretty ******** Jonny. I thought it used to be when you transferred over a character to another server, it also flagged you to qualify for that race and pt-build on that server? Seems to me it should stay the same in mod9, even if just for consistencies sake.
