This is a build I came up with based on my experiences in free beta using the DDO Character Planner 3.10
Critisism is appreciated, because I won't be able to test this build myself until a get ahold of the class and race in my account. Thanks in advance!

I would drop INT to 10 and STR to 12, not worry about combat expertise....and bump CON to 14 and Wis to 16...put all lvl ups into WIS.
Your Dex will hit 30 with just the elven DEX enhancements + 6item + (+)2 tome + GM Wind stance, this is plenty of DEX

Also your WIS will hit 32= monks Wis 3 + 6item + 5 from lvl ups + (+)2 tome

This will bump up your AC and your DC's for special attacks.

You do NOT need dodge nor mobility(IMO) instead take the TWF feats, these stack with the unarmed attacks for ALOT more attacks.

I took those feats because it gives me spring attack as well as whirlwind attack. This monk build is more structured around attacking in the sense of getting as many hits in as possible. Dual weilding is nice, but I would trust the fists more in such a case because they hit faster imo (by all means prove me wrong on this point so that I don't screw myself over here :P).

Your idea is not without merit though: dual wielding and the wisdom upgrades would just work better with a more defensive monk build (in which I would change to a different race, because drow would be rather useless if the int. boost wasn't being applied).

Umm...TWF gives you MORE attacks UNARMED....I didn't say anything about dual wielding....and if you are going for dmg...then drop your Wis down to a 12 and bump up your STR.
Put 2 lvl ups into STR, 2 into dex and 1 into wis.

Whirlwind attack is not worth all the feats you have to have to get it.
