Exclamation I think i have a lvvling problem plz help.

Ok i started this game with my friend and hes rank 8, level 2 of 4 and I'm rank 8, level 1 of 4. I thought that you were supposed lvl up every 5 ranks. Meaning that i should almost be lvl 3. Could someone please help me or if I am wrong , could someone please correct me.

** I also have another question. How do u multiclass? Like i think you go to any one of the trainers and ask them to train under them, but how would u lvl up ur secondary class?**

I'd like to compound on this question.

Can free players not advance beyond the 4th level?

    *smart a$$ reply warning*

Depends on whether or not the free player did any reading on the forums or website before jumping into the game...

You realize that the amount of players that read a given MMO's forums is only about 5% of the respective community?

I warned, and now I'll ask this - Are we responsible for telling you everything about this game? All the information is on the DDO.com website. Why not use it instead of asking the same questions every other day? Why not do a thread search instead of asking the same question every other day? Learn to think and do for yourself.

As a community, we're loving all the people and attention the game is getting. We didn't mind answering questions the first couple of times they were asked. But the same questions over and over again, when they've been answered a dozen or more times is annoying.

And to be honest, when the only literature about the game is on the games website (which you have to visit to download the game) not reading it is pure laziness and nobodies fault but your own.

I half agree with you... especially for a game with as many nooks and crannies as DDO.

To answer the question, f2pers have to find a "level sigils" every 4 lvls. This increases their lvl cap by 4. Level Sigils can be found from quest end rewards, or bought off the Turbine Store.

And why don't you quit being lazy?

I have answered this question more times than I can count today. You players are the ones being selfishly and childishly lazy. Eventually, it becomes to much to bear. Now, instead of answering the question, Stormanne is answering many, by directing you to the proper place to read.

PS You're arguing his point. Very few people read the forums. That is exactly the point trying to be made, that not enough newbies read the game literature.

Fortunately this tool's viewpoint is not shared by all here. While there are many ways to find out the information by yourself, the forums here were created to communicate with your fellow players.

P.S. If you are annoyed by reading the same questions everyday......then don't read them. The irritation you feel is self inflicted and nobody's fault but your own.

Why, because I don't tolerate laziness? Because I'm willing to do a little research instead of asking others to do it for me? Because I use my head for something other than a hat rack?

Sorry if I offend some of you, but I was raised to do for myself and think for myself.

Which is why people should read the forums before posting the same question over and over again.

    Its tough love.

No, sir. It is being intolerable, plain and simple. There was no love to be found anywhere in his post.

True, it could be candy-coated a bit more, but his point remains the same: read the literature so that you can help yourself with any problem you want, instead of having to post. It makes you feel good to be able to be self-sufficient. I might be wrong, but that was what I thought he was trying to accomplish in his post, and I second the idea.

Macros, not to flame you man, but if you look at my post count, then look at what easily 75% of those posts are, you'll learn quite quickly that I have no problem helping others. So, to insult me by calling me a tool, is only a half insult, because a tool is a resource for getting something done, which I have been far more often than not.

kk, point taken. I am referring to only one post, the other 800+ could possibly have been veru useful indeed. My appologies.

However, we all knew that this week in particular would be rife with nebies looking for help. This has the potential to be great for this game with the added revenues, and hopefull added development dollars.

Give the guys a week at least. I want to see this game made better, dude. Just avoid it if it bothers you is all, let those of us with some left over patience handle it while we can. Don't scare off the fresh blood before it has barely walked through the door.

While the delivery is rather blunt and rough around the edges the overall point is correct. There needs to either be a little effort taken upon by the new players to research the answers which have been given many many times (The level sigil comes to mind because I have seen about 7 different threads asking the same exact question) or Turbine needs to come up with a more extensive guide that they are made to either read or watch before they can start making toons.

I'm not trying to be rude, just trying to get people to use their heads a little. And I'm not one for candy coating things. Just ask my wife. She learned the hard way not to ask questions she doesn't want an honest and direct answer to. (She once asked me if a dress made her look fat...it had horizontal stripes and she was only four months removed from having a baby)

Yes and to Multi-class you visit a different Class trainer than what you started as.

You can multi-class a max of 3 classes, but they will have alignment requirements.
