Default I keep seeing the term 'raid'

Are raids in DDO multiple groups put together or just a group of 5?

A raid group can have a max of 12 people.

Raid groups enter the quest which is designed for 12 at level players (I.E. Raid)

A list of raids is basically:

    Tempest spine - level 8
    Vault of night 5-6 - level 10
    Titan - Level 12
    Demon Queen - level 12
    Reaver - level 14
    Shroud - level 16
Abbott - level 18 (It might actually be winnable legitamately for the first time since mod 5 or so...)
Vision of destruction/hound of xoriat/entire subterranae area which you pass through to get to them - level 18
Tower of despair - level 20

Why am I a disgruntled vet? I could care less about nerfs, if the rest of the update worked.
I hate epic, GSF !="generalist wizard", and my raid loot luck still *'in sucks.

I'd recommend first visiting them at these levels:

Tempest's Spine: Level 9 - this is a quest that's like a bigger, tougher version of Stormcleave Outpost in scope. (Different foes, however).
Vault of Night: Level 12+ - this is deceptively tough to do at level unless you really, really know it well.
The Titan Awakes: Level 14+ - deceptively tough at level again
Demon Queen: Level 12+ - Easy enough to beat; hard to get a group for.
Reaver: Level 10+ - really easy.
Shroud: Level 17+ - we were doing it with level 16s for a while, but that was level 16s that were well-equipped. Plus, the raid just got made slightly harder. Save elite for level 20 unless you really, really know what you are doing.
Abbot: Level 15+ - requires twitch gaming skills from at least six of your group. If you rock at Counterstrike, you'll excel at this raid. If like me you shoot your own foot in first person shooters - avoid.
Vision of Destruction and Hound of Xoriat: Level 17+. Save elite for level 20.
Tower of Despair: Level 18+ with good gear or level 20 otherwise.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.
