Server is Full Error Message

I just downloaded DDO this morning and whenever I try to start the game on a server it says the server is full. I'm completely new to this and don't know how to solve the problem. Is this just normal due to the game's popular demand or is there a problem with the version I downloaded? Also this is the first MMORPG I have ever played so apologies if my lack of knowledge is irritating!

I thought VIP subscribers were supposed to be put in a priority queue for login.
Maybe that was just a rumor.
All I get is the client crashing with this error.
Would be nice if you could implement a queue.

Not a server full error, but after 20 attempts searching for logon server, it pops up an error "Connection failed: Client timed out the connection" Other servers work, but my toons are not on them, are they....

I am really getting tired of this, I paid for a subscription to a game that tells us that VIP's have priority access to all servers. But when we log on, we get the server full message.


oh and the lack of customer service on this issue just furthers my distaste of the "support" that is lacking...

Tried logging in to Ghallanda multiple(5-6) times between 9 and 10 pm edt.

Why in the world does this game crash instead of go to a server que if the server is full? Also why does it not list current pop. on the login screen?

I seriously doubt the server is actually "full" on a Wednesday morning.
FWIW, I picked the Argonassian server and I can login fine.

Edit - As of 9:20am it's working now.

SERVER FULL - Khyber 12:00pm PST

(10 times in a row so far. Also I was able to log into another server fine)


So is this still a bug with the login server, or is it really full today? After being away from the game for over a year, I'm a returning VIP who just dropped a load of money on 2 expansions and points yesterday. I'm really hoping this is just a server-side bug that can be fixed quickly. I would be pretty outraged if this continues going forward after spending that much and being an active VIP. Dev feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

I faced this on Thelanis yesterday. I assumed this was because the server was really full...with it being the last day before expansion (new enhancements & repeat penalties) and 30% xp bonus.

Anyways after reading the thread, this seems to be a DDO bug, not a sever specific problem.

I was able to get on Thelanis on my third try though, so I'd suggest anyone who's facing this to try try try until you succeed

cant get into orio server error code 0x800441f4 i was on fine after the update download this too a different pc while my other is in shop and i get too the world but the says disconnected from server

sorry too say i am haveing problems i get too orion i flot in the air then says disconnected from server in the chat box it has this error code 0x800441f4 , now i looked up the error code witch means world is down due too updates... so idk help plz its been almost 2 days now =(
