New player hopping on-board!

Hello all!

Just thought i'd throw a post out to say i'm hopping on your server. I played DDO for a few months last year, until my GFX card gave up the ghost and died. As I was playing another MMO as well, I let my subscription lapse for this one and concentrated on that once my computer was back up and running.

I did a little searching on the forums and found this is supposedly one of the servers with a higher quantity of role-players. I love role-playing... played pen and paper D&D for many, many years. My partner is looking at joining me on here as well... she loved DDO as well and is really pleased that it's gone free-to-play... she's also a role-player.

So yeah... heya all! If you have any pointers on finding RP on this server, they would be appreciated. Pointers on playing the game also welcome as i'm very, very rusty on the commands and such!

I suggest you ask around the taverns for folk with interests akin to yours!

I believe that Thursday nights in The Phoenix Tavern is the time/place when a lot of RP's gather.

Some of the RP guilds are Fellowship of the Golden Night and Order of the Sword and Rose. There may be others, but you may want to start there.

Welcome back, and yes, if you are looking for us roleplayers I suggest hunting around for us on Thursday night in the Phoenix tavern. We normally hang out in the back room and you'll find a number of different guilds. Fellowship of the Golden Night, Dawnswords, Crimson Nexus, and a bunch of other rp guilds.
