    Default DNDSETUP problem

When I attempt to install the program, I get an error that says
    "Error sending request.

A connection with the server could not be established"

I've opened firewalls and ports, and even tried pinging the server. When I pinged the server, I didn't get a response. Is there a problem with it?

Are you using the Turbine Download Manager (TDM) install or the "full" download via Pando Media Booster?

If Pando check out the Faq here which may help. If it's the TDM install is this occuring as you are downloading the installation for TDM or after TDM is installed and trying to run?

I'm using the download manager. I installed it on another computer, and it ran fine.

The problem I'm having is downloading the dotnetfx11.exe file. I've tried repatching from the first .NET Framework, but that didn't help.

I'm not quite sure whats going on here.

I'd double check your "Add or Remove Programs" (XP) or "Uninstall a Program" (Vista) control panel option for:

    Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1
    and
Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Hotfix (KB####)

(Game needs both 1.1 and the 1.1 "service pack").

If they're both listed try uninstalling them starting with 1.1 and then the "hotfix" and downloading and reinstalling them from the links below (if only one is listed uninstall just that one and then reinstall both):

    Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1
    The 1.1 Service Pack (Hotfix)

If it keeps up though once those are installed or reinstalled definitely open a support request if you haven't yet.
