I figure it this way, if peops care so much about cookie cutter, then they dont understand the real concept of DnD, and should go bugger off to other cookie cutter games that have no concept of tactics, or teamwork. And no, my characters are never cookie cutter.

You raise a good point, though, that what you see on the My.DDO.com profile is not an accurate representation of what a character will be like in quest. In many cases I noticed that my profile had on gear that I had on for selling instead of questing, so that +6 con item was replaced with a haggle item, that sort of thing.

Shouldnt be a shock. WOW was been played like this for years. With Armory/wow-heroes/Be Imba/ it only took a moment to see who was trying to apply to your raiding guild/ Alt Pug raid or even a Pug Heroic in LFG. This will be a tool for the "elite" to use and the rest to ignore.

Folks will play like they want, and that includes "include" who they want.

Now if I can just find a way to get out of lv 14 so I can play with the 'big boys".....

I'm going to level a pally, a bard and a ranger on a f2p account just so I can give my monk barkskin, AC song and Pally aura before I logoff every time. Yes, it might take a few months but it's well worth it.

Dude I gotta agree with Quik. If you are rolling a melee with 25% fort, or like a 16 in your attack or casting stat, etc that needs to be corrected before asking to do something high level. MYDDO is a useful tool to help horrible players know what they are doing wrong. Kudos and rep and cookies to everyone who is willing to hold their hand all the way to 20 while they contribute nothing just because you are too nice to say something. Are you really being nice by not helping them fix their gimp toon?

Quik was being funny... You sound serious... The problem with using myddo is that it takes a snapshot when you log off... If the WF has 25% fort showing, he probably took off his Head of Good Fortune (or whatever) and had a haggle item on when he logged off..

You can't really tell what they DON'T have using myddo... However, you can tell what they DO have... so if you see someone wearing Tharne's Goggles, you can use that information, but if they're not, you can't assume they don't have them..
