    Unhappy "Error finding configuration file"

I click the ddostandard.exe after downloading it to my computer and I get this message that says "Error finding configuration file". I have be assured by a friend who is a computer programmer that it is not a problem with my computer, but with Turbine.com. But I don't think so since I seem to be the only one in the world with this problem

I have Windows XP and not much else, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Default Error reading configuration file

Dude, I am right with you, I have no clue what is going on and all the same problems are happening to me. Any decent website wouldn't be having this problem. I feel like I don't even want to try to play this anymore, in fact I feel like telling people to not download it.

I'm getting the same error. My brother would like me to be able to play this with him and I'm more than willing to try, but a bad installer makes me think that the game must be equally poor in quality. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I've not found anything helpful on this forum or the internet in general to fix this issue.

Different error for that one, that was a specific to 64bit OS' and the game launcher was giving that one out due to a config file error.

I would review the Pando Media Booster Support & FAQ but also try uninstalling "Pando Media Booster" via the "Add or Remove Programs" (XP) or "Uninstall a Program" (Vista/Win7) option in the Control Panel and re-downloading the installer from here .

Be sure when you download the setup file (standard or hi-res) also that you use "Save" or "Save as" not "Run" or "Run from current location".

    Talking

I was having this same problem. My guess is that the downloader isn't compatible with 7. You can bypass the downloader entirely and download the client from Fileplanet. I did this and it installed OK.
