    Talking Forum Permissions Question

After having done much research and reading, because I am a total n00b here, I went to post the stats of a character I was building for input and feedback. When I attempted to start a new thread this is the message I received:

"CrunK., you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

As a FTP account holder am I supposed to be so limited in the use of the forums here? Or are my restrictions wrong? If so then where or how do I report the issue? I cant respond to threads or start new ones in forums sections like: News & Discussion (it would be nice to at lest be able to respond if I had something to respond with), Servers (How come I cant start threads or reply here?) or Community (which I am technically a member of, I think).

Any help would be much appreciated.

It seems that F2P accounts are extremely limited in what they can post for now to, I assume, avoid a moderation nightmare (ie people trolling, getting banned and starting a new account to troll some more). All those restrictions are remove the moment you become a VIP or buy Turbine Points.

Yeah I know but unless the powers that be want redundant threads just so FTP can discuss a topic already being discussed they should ease up a bit. All I wanted to do was start a thread asking for help creating a character. A thread like that would be out of place in the FTP general area. And more than likely someone would respond with something like "your posting this in the wrong area". Just basing this of course from my experience at other communities. I guess I could post it in the new player advice and guidelines but would it get the exposure to the appropriate crowd? It would get some hits I am sure but there is a likely some great sage who has just the piece of advice I needed to hear does not see the thread. There thats my argument.

edit: Should at least seriously consider making FTP accounts be able to respond in the "Servers" and "Community" section. No sense alienating the new comers. I mean ultimately this is a business. It is obvious that the intention to making DDO FTP is to lure in potentioal paying customers. If it were my biz I would lift some of the restrictions.
