Boots of Anchoring-Info + Buying Guide

How to craft the Boots of Anchoring you will want for your tanks in the Tower of Despair Raid, they will help the fighters alot!
Find 4 ingredients from the new quest, they are as follows:

Ratings = 1,2,3,4. 4 Hardest,3 Annoying to get, 2 Just a few more trys, 1 ...Please, you call that rare?

THESE BOOTS BIND TO THAT ONE SPECIFIC CHARATER YOU MAKE THEM ON.

Demon Blood(1) - Bastion of Power - End Chest
Mysterious Artifact(3) - Before Boss fight in, A New Invasion - End Chest
Pure Shavarath Iron(4) - Weapons Shipment - Genisis Point - End Chest (not optional)
Devils Keepsake(2) - Weapons Shipment - End Chest (not optional) or Sins of Attrition - Any End Chest


All the items are low drop rates, but do not bind so you can trade them.
Once you have all 4 items. Bring them to the Planar Traval NPC that will offer you send you out of Amrath. Select the bottom option to ask about the boots of anchoring, then give her the ingredients and she will make you a set. The Boots do bind and have no other stats then Anchoring - which makes you immune to haste, displacement, and banishment.

Since they do take away you haste, and displacement on equip, they are well worth it. As some may know as some may not, inside of the new raid, General Horoth (The Main Raid Boss) is able to Banish you (your on thier relm, so you will end up in, House D.,House K., House J., House P., The Marketplace) So this will end your chance at getting any loot or, rewards from the quest.(No way to get back in, unless restart). So for fighters that will melee, these will be a necessary item.


Since the module is only One week and one day Old,(since post) the items are worth alot, due to the persistence of some adventurers dieing, to complete the raid, the boot ingredients are worth a good amount.

Best way to get the materials for the boots, are by trading larges, ANYONE likes a good Shroud item.
Other ways, if you grind a quest, and get so good, you can probably get two, maybe three, of the item from that quest untill ransack, all the items, will trade for others. So, if you had four demon bloods, you could get the rest of the ingredients, off of the one item you grinded for.

Allways, the +2 Tomes, they are worth a good amount, able to get an ingredient or two out of, depending on what the tome is, and how bad someone will need it.

Then there is platnium, but you only need to go to the A.H. and there should allways be some on the Auction, but that doesn't mean, that they will be cheap...

In the end, if you have some left over larges, or maybe a +2 Tome of Anything, you should be able to get a set of boots fairly easy.

Good info. I didn't know that the Keepsake also dropped from Sins.

In any event, I have an Artifact that I will trade for a Blood to complete my set. You can gouge me a bit on my end if you feel the need.

I have an extra Devil's Keepsake I'll trade for a Mysterious Artifact, or the Demon's Blood.

Dont know if this has been pointed out yet but Mysterious Atifact can also be found in the locked chest BEFORE the boss fight in A New Invasion. I pulled one from it tonight, wish I had thought to take a screenshot of it at the time.

So its possible to get your boot part there without actually completing the quest.

My recommendation:

Sell any of these items you loot now for 1m PP on the AH. Wait 6 weeks, then buy them for 50k PP.

This is probobly what people are going to end up doing, because the long these are out the lower the value will become, but hey, do what you wanna do with you Ingredients.
