    Default Existing Turbine Account?

    Okay, I'm happy that the Free To Play is now open, and was excited to go create an account, but I cannot seem to find any way to tie the account to my current Turbine account.

    I created a new account, but I'm an existing LotRO subscriber, and would prefer to tie it to that one.

    When I log in to "My Account", it wants a product key, which I obviously don't have.

    I don't see anything in any of the support pages or forums.

    Anyone?

    Exact same problem is happening to like three of my buddies. I had a previous DDO account so can play fine, but they can't figure how to join me. They don't want to create an entirely new Turbine account, and when they try to use the freshly opened Join DDO, their account name bounces as "in use".

    Same here cept I am having another problem in addition. My husband is trying to get one and he was having problems so I decided to help him tie it to his LOTRO account, no go, same as you guys. But when I gave up and decided to make a whole new account the form wont give me enough time to fill it out, it keeps saying "session expired". Im a pretty fast typer so its baffling to me lol. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

    Hello,

    Account Management Representatives will be able to provide product keys directly; which will allow you to add a new DDO subscription to your existing account. Contact information can be found within my signature. Unfortunately, there is no way to do this through the website account setup.

    Same problem. I tried and tried to find some way to use my current account to sign up for DDO: finding a product key, looking all over the account page, filling out the new sign up form (it wouldn't let me submit because "the account name was already in use"!!!). I finally created a new account just so I could post on the forums! This is really aggravating!

    how exactly can we contact AMR? that link in your signature just goes to the DDO download site, with no links to anything other than myaccount.turbine.com which just loops right back to the same page if you click on support.
    And it being 11am, the phone AMR's won't be available for 5 hours?

    That is correct, your best option would be to call the Account Management Team at 4:00pm. I do apologize that we don't have a more instantaneous workaround for these requests.

    The second best option would be to send us an Email requesting a product key. That will take a little bit longer than a direct phone call.

    OK, thanks for letting us know what to do! If I may give a suggestion for you to pass on to the website dev team, please have them set up a way for us existing accounts to do this automatically. I am a web dev and this should be a very easy fix.

    Default problems signing in

    So I was invited for beta testing but when I got the email it was to late and beta was already over now I have an account and its supposed to be open for all players because it is the ninth but Im still getting closed servers and cannot play period what am I supposed to do?

    Your account is being looked at now SuperMuffin. You should be able to log into those servers a little later today.

    I am having the same problem as supermuffin. Under my account it says I am subscribed to DDO free, but when I try to log into the game it shows all servers still closed. Please help. Thanks.
