So I take it you are saying that the new quests ran on Elite are hard right? Even on elite and only being only level 18 I was suprisingly underwhelmed. All be it, I was in some kick ass PUG groups this weekend.

No its not differnet, just too hard! To many rescources and party wipes. After trying for a week my uber partys still wipe in the Invasion end fight. I cant even get through all the explorers without at least one party wipe.

The shroud has been beefed up as well. It is now uncompletable as it stands. Harry just puts out too much damage!

I know but sometimes I just like to hear the "Boom" and dont care that im being unfair Besides, thats why fish lay so many eggs at a time, so shmucks like me can kill em for sport

Completed Shroud on Hard the other day with only 1 death (aside from the obvious), with 2 clerics. Some guildies completed it on Elite the day after.

Bring an intimitank into the new content. That makes things much easier for everything but the end fight of A New Invasion. I'll agree that that fight is too hard, though some people are having an easy time of it. We did a pretty solid run through yesterday, where the cleric ran around dropping blade barriers and the melees ran behind trying to hit the pit fiend. It was faster than my previous runs, but the cleric still downed a half dozen majors, which is really excessive.

The raid is rough! I'll not argue that, but solid strategy pays off. I've completed twice on my intimitank, zero times on my wizard, out of about 12-15 tries. The first completion was luck, and Enthrall. Still not sure how we pulled that one out. The second completion was smooth as silk. Ended up going with the hero method, ala VoN 6. One WF tank on the boss, 2 casters taking care of orthons, one intimitank on Sulu (probably could have had the melees beating on his ass, but we had only 2 clerics and they were focused on the tank).

10 signs that the mod 9 is too hard:

1) you had to sell all your large scales to foot your repair bills.
2) you wear your Royal Guard mask full time for quick exit incase of imminent party wipes
3) you crafted mineral II's for your caster because none of your spells land anymore
4) you had to get a second credit card for your Turbine-store res-clickie fund
5) you wait for a 3rd cleric to fill your shroud run
6) your cleric doesn't bother with heals anymore, hot keys 1 through 9 are just for various raise dead spells now.
7) you have to multiclass all your characters with either barb/monk/or acrobat so that you can run away from mobs faster.
8) you actually fight in the crowd control now
9) you re-spec'd your barbarian for ranged because you don't have enough HP to melee anymore.
