Default Add on-hit effects to shields or crafting rituals

I'd really like to see effects like Weighted, Vertigo and such added to more items, similar to how Banishing, Crippling and Destruction were added to armors. Grabbing a weapon with one of these effects on it necessarily results in lower DPS, but also can be difficult if different weapons are required for different fights.

For example, I may be able to find a great +5 Holy Burst Longsword of Vertigo, but if I'm fighting something that has some significant DR, I wouldn't want to be using that weapon, though my desire to be able to trip things would remain.

I'd really like to see these abilities added to shields, jewelery, etc... and/or would like to see new crafting rituals, whether for greensteel items, the new named rings, or normal stone of change, added to the game.

If they add errr silver as an option alot of people with mineral 2 are going to be unhappy.

What? You mean if they add a ritual where you can change a weapon's material to silver? Is that necessarily related to my post?
