I guess I wasn't clear about my question. I have used the enhancements as presented in by Anthios888 in the first post of this thread. Item Defense I and II is included in his build. When I buy the enhancements Anthios888 has listed, I come up short. I have a feeling I've added something in but, I'm just not seeing it.

I'm not either, but its also entirely possible that she hasn't kept the enhancements section quite up to date, as those things can change by the week. Drop the item defense II and you won't exactly be badly off; I can't see why it would be taken other than as a progression requirement anyway. She might just have 83 ap worth of stuff up there by accident. I've done that in my build threads before.

If you loose the Item defense II, you won't have the prereqs for Stalwart Defender III.

Wow, I didn't realize fighters got so hosed on AP for stalwart defender requirements. Item defense???

Action Points fluctuate depending on your STR, CON, and DEX. I probably went and revised mine when I changed my gear layout, without removing something. Next time I log on, I will post my accurate action points.

Pulling something like a +3 str tome would unlock a lot more simply by allowing me to drop Fighter Strength 3.

I did not carry fighter intimidate III or IV for a long time, and recently picked both up at the expense of Warforged Constitution II and WF Power Attack III (along with some other adjustments). I don't have the Stalwart Defender ring yet, but I do have the Kensei set, so I adjusted my APs to reflect the extra con. Because I am playing the character in Epic Demon Queen pretty frequently, I have been a bit more focused on intimidate now than I was before.

Remember that you don't have to go with exactly the same APs that I do. By the time you're level 20, you'll have an idea for yourself of what you want to accomplish. Good luck with the build!

Now with +2 tomes for sale at the store, having your INT @ 14 is a true waste of ability points. Go with INT 11 (13 with +2 tome for CE) and put those extra points in CHA (which you will need if you want high Intimidation) and couple for your WIS for your will saves.

Yes. Look at original build. Now, while I suspect this build was before they made all +2 tomes ML7, you can still achieve it by eating a +1 int @ lvl3. Not to mention, you get most of those rank with 2rog (and intimi being a core skill for both classes).

The original build starts with 11 INT + 2 tome. I ate the +2 tome at level 16 or something. You can eat a +1 at level 3 and still get everything you need, as well as some gravy open lock, balance, tumble, and jump.

i would just like to point at that with the new docent in IQ it becomes possible to swap out your minos for an intim hat and farm a chattering ring instead of sov runes for the same amount of ac.

I am really taking a look at this build. I have an original 28 point dex build elf ranger than if I am not really happy with the lvl 20 capstone and arcane archer I may just TR him into a tank since he has a chattering ring. Let face it that is almost if not the hardest thing to get in an AC build. So I figure make him 34 points and make a versatile intimidate tank.

I have been torn between a dwarven or WF tank. This build looks really promising.

So I have been looking more and more at this build. I most say I think this may be the one that I want to do for my intimidate tank. Since I was a ranger I could take the feat for self barkskining. I have chaosgardes and a chattering ring. What difference would you make in stats if you had a 34 point build?

You could up base CHA to 10 (for more intimidate with a +2 tome) or raise WIS couple of points.

I figured wisdom since I am not sure how bad the will saves are going to be. Also I am not sure the reflex save is going to be high enough to make it on elite. I need to figure the saves on the build out.

I'd definitely raise the CHA with 34 points. One of the biggest strengths is the intimidate and UMD.

The low wis has been over-emphasized. With a warforged, I rarely notice any will-save related issues. One or two points is just not a big deal for this build.

I am just thinking that laying on my back with greater command might really start to stink. But I would tend to agree the intimidate and umd is more important. Especially if I can fit in construct thinking.
