my old character

So I got the email to become a VIP member, thought id give D&D another shot, now my old character was on a different server than what is available now, is there anyway of bringing that character back or is he lost?

also, as a VIP member it states that I have access to all races, and class, yet I cant select Drow or say, favored soul as a class. is this normal or a know issue?

Some of the servers were merged and your character will be on one of the 5 old ones just log on all of them until you find him he will not be on canaith or however you spell it but one of the others.

As to drow you need 400 favor to unlock that race and you need to talk to nyx or however his name is he use to be by the harbour masters house and I am not sure if he still is or not.
