Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
- Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
- Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
- Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
- Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
- Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.
My FvS started with a 12 cha....and that has worked quite well. A lower cha could be done...but you have to work harder at it.
A 12 cha lets you avoid using a + cha item all together (even on Cannith) for quite a long time.
12 base gets you to level 6 without needing any boost.
AT lvl 6 +1 cha enhcnament from lvl 5 gets you to lvl 8.
At lvl 8 +1 cha enhancement from lvl 6 gets you to lvl 10.
At lvl 10 +1 cha enhancement gets you to lvl 12.
By lvl 12 you should have at least a +1 tome...and should not be that far away from getting a free +2 tome (if your running quests for favor on Cannith) or you can buy one. A +2 tome which you will get by lvl 16....will bring you all the way up to lvl 16 without a cha item at all equiped.
At that point you can either use a +3 cha tome......or just use a +cha item till you hit lvl 20 and get the +2 cha capstone bonus....which allows you to ditch the cha item and open up a slot.
So honestly 12 is really the way to go...anything else requires a higher tome (an 11 cha if you know you'll have a +3 tome..or a 10 if you know you'll have a +4 can work...by why use your resources on cha if you don't need to?).
So I strongly suggest most FvS's go with a 12 base cha. It's easy to keep cha high enough that way and at lvl 20...with just a +2 tome...which is cake....you have a high enough cha without any item equiped.
And you can level up much easier...without having to use multiple tomes along the way etc.
