    Default Fair Trade

My firestorm greeves for a pair of blank green steel goggles.

    Thoughts?

My only thought is you can get the goggles by running 5 quests versus ransacking the Desert for month after month...

It's a fair trade if both parties understand the value they are both giving and getting.

I just happen to be luckier than most (at least I think) at getting these boots. I have one pair that I swap between toons and any other pair is normally either auctioned or more recently traded for stuff.

From a pure cost value standpoint, I see greensteel items on the auction for 5-10 mil and sometimes see the boots for about the same (depending on the poster). I like the desert grind because I can do it by myself as opposed to the shroud, which I have to wait for 3 days at a time.

    Thanks for the response!

Yeah, there are people out there who have so much plat that they will pay that much for convenience.

Apparently, there are also people out there who are incredibly lucky in pulling very elusive boots

Getting the goggles simply requires that you run the 5 Vale quests, so there's no timer involved. Granted, it's easier to solo the Desert than the Value quests...

Remember that just because people are posting things on the AH for incredible sums doesn't mean anyone is taking them up on it.
