I have a cleric/monk/ranger will be 12/2/6, would this build be better as a FS 12/monk 2/ranger? Looked to see this one posted, if you have a link for either the cleric version or the favored soul version

Short answer: yes.

Longer answer: yes because the favored soul has better synergies with monk/ranger.

Longest answer: see Arkat's build. You lose a bit of casting versatility and can no longer DV, so it isn't necessarily better for everyone -- but it will be better for most.
