Favored Soul?

I paid for this when I was on the beta server. Now it is asking me to pay again to have access on this server?

PLEASE HELP!!!

Also curious to whether anyone thinks Favored/Sorcerer is worth trying as they seem to be Charisma based toons. I'm sure someones already done this. What have you discovered, not powerful enough? how are the SP?

everything was wiped from the beta server. If u made a purchase the credit was given back to you (TP's rather) you have to re-buy it on the live servers or unlock it with favor.



Favored souls SP bonus is based off of charisma but the spell DC's still come from wisdom.

A 1 level sorc splash might be worth it for the SP boost (not that a FvS should be having SP issues....) and access to arcane wands, especially for a warforged.

A 1 level wizard splash would give a smaller SP boost (but see earlier comment...) access to the same wands AND a metamagic feat.

But I personally wouldn't try to do anything other than a single level splash. Trying to mix 2 spellcasting classes and progress seriously down each's spell list results in a caster who can't do anything because their spell DCs are horrible.

almost accurate.. what you forgot to mention was that "IF" you purchased TP during beta from the store, that amount was credited back to you in live... but if you used TP that was a bonus from siging up to test open beta, like tentonhammer - that amount is NOT refunded to you...

I don't see a single reason to mix Sorcerer or favored Soul. Individually they are very powerful classes, but they don't go well together. If you want Wand/Scroll usage, splash 1 bard or 1 rogue so you could get a ridiculous UMD. If you wanted that extra feat, splash monk, which also maintains the full save progression, and allows centered classes to use the monk stances.

Don’t splash. Missing out on the Capstone and Damage Reduction for the ability to use a couple wands isn't worth it. Especially when the Sovereign Host capstone can heal a warforged for more than that Repair Critical Wand.
