    Default FvS Build Request

I am planning on useing Drow since i do not have 32 build unlocked yet (plus i love useing drow). I am not interested in melee dps. I want to be able to heal and do nice spell dmg. My goal is to be able to switch roles as healer and dps.

What would you suggest for drow build? I do understand that there is no real FvS builds fully tested yet. I just want a good starting point to work with.

It's really almost too simple to call it a "build".

Just start with high wisdom (17 or 18), good constitution (14), and decent charisma (12-15). Then as you advance as an FVS take the various metamagic feats (Maximize, Heighten, Quicken, Empower) and maybe some Spell Pene. A nice pattern is to take Extend at level 1, then swap it for Quicken after level 10. The Toughness feat would help you stay alive and keep casting. Put additional stat points into wisdom so your spells will hit harder.

Aside from selecting your list of spells and religion, that's all there is to it. The key spells to aim for are Heal, Blade Barrier, Destruction, Drain, Harm, Cometfall, Gr Command, Soundburst, MCMW, and the like. But obviously you'll need to take other spells before you get to those. Any of the religions could be fine, depending on if you want CLW, Searing Light, or Invis as your free spell.

Hint: Regardless of your longterm goals, the first 5 levels will go faster if you melee a lot. Using spellcasting to kill mobs doesn't really work well until level 12, although you can CC them for a beatdown much earlier.
