Default Stuck on 'welcome to eberron'

I can choose any of my characters and click login. The loading bar gets to 100%, i can move my mouse etc. The game doesn't say not responding, it just sits there on welcome to eberron.

My toons are all on Sarlona. Any ideas?

    hell something worked!!

though i had "firewall disabled", i entered the rules for outbound traffic.. for all the necessary EXEs, AND removes ALL "not microsoft" programs from autostart using MSCONFIG, restarted, and then.. i realized.. booting to the character screen took definitely longer! .. and i could continue!..

    Default Same problem

My cousin was having the same problem so i emailed turbine and got back this (took a week for them to reply). Follow exactely what it says it should work.

»Please open Internet Explorer (used by the game for its cache and connection settings) and click on the Tools menu, choose Internet Options, and on the General tab click the “Delete” button in the “Browsing History” section and then click the Delete buttons next to “Temporary Internet Files” and “Cookies”.

Once those files have cleared please also power cycle your modem and router (turn them off, wait 30 seconds, turn them back on) and reboot the PC. Upon rebooting click on click on the blue Windows logo button and click "All Programs" > "Accessories" and right click on "Command Prompt" and choose Run as Administrator.

On the Command Prompt window that comes up type "ipconfig /flushdns" (no quotes) and hit enter. Once that command completes please reattempt to login.
